Cassette roller blinds have a higher price than the standard roller blinds. Day and night roller blinds have a higher price than the regular roller blinds. Roller blinds are classified by their construction type as either standard roller blinds or cassette roller blinds, and by their purpose, e.g. day and night roller blinds, blackout roller blinds, skylight roller blinds, etc. At the moment, cassette roller blinds enjoy more popularity, but standard roller blinds are still widely used. Cassette roller blinds are manufactured using sturdy materials: the major elements (pole, cassette, and side channels) are usually made of aluminium, while other parts, such as control mechanism and caps are made of high-quality plastic. Instead, there is a wooden or plastic pulley tied to the bottom of the roller blind; the blind is operated by manipulating the pulley.
